In collaboration with a group of private donors, the Company is supporting the development of a proposed project to improve the facilities and learning environment at an Early Childhood Development Centre in close proximity to stage 9 , serving children aged three to five.
The proposed renovation scope includes:
- Construction of a new roof and installation of ceilings
- Reinforcement and repair of existing walls
- Painting works
- Construction of child-friendly sanitation facilities, including separate toilet facilities
The project is linked to a proposed fundraising trek along The Pekoe Trail in 2027. The initiative illustrates how trail-based fundraising and responsible tourism can help mobilise resources for essential community infrastructure.
