A dedicated team based in Colombo works behind the scenes to coordinate and support 300 kilometres of trail, guided by a committed Board of Directors who generously contribute their time, expertise and experience to The Pekoe Trail.

On the trail
Area coordinators along the route are The Pekoe Trails eyes and ears. They know the estate superintendents, the village leaders and the state of every bridge on their stages, and they are the first to report a problem. Community guides, trained and registered with The Pekoe Trail, lead hikers through the landscapes they grew up in. If you hire a guide through The Pekoe Trail Company (Guarantee) Limited or a partner, your money stays within that community.
